Dr. Kristy Short has been serving the accounting profession for more than 25 years—offering a deep knowledge of content strategy and development, marketing, and branding. She’s worked with hundreds of firm partners and staff to educate and help elevate brand presence for the modern era—positioning firms to grow and thrive. Kristy has been named one of CPA Practice Advisor’s “Most Powerful Women in Accounting” three times and has published numerous articles in CPA Practice AdvisorAccounting Today, and multiple state CPA society newsletters. Throughout her career, she’s also worked with notable thought leaders to develop and publish business books and hundreds of education-based whitepapers and articles—all geared to help move the profession forward. 

Today, Kristy is also passionate about raising awareness of anxiety, depression and workplace burnout that pervade the accounting profession. She is a dedicated advocate of promoting mental wellness and self care.
