State CPA Society News & Updates is a selection of recent announcements and initiatives by CPA associations in the United States and its territories.

The Indiana CPA Society (INCPAS) has opened registration for its Not-For-Profit Conference, which will take place July 24, 2025, from 8:30 am to 4:50 pm in Carmel, Indiana. Member cost is $274 if registered by July 3, with nonmember cost of $442. Those interested can register online.

The Society of Louisiana CPAs is holding its 2025 Controllers Conference on March 14, 2025, at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center. The member price is $389 with a non-member price of $489.  Visit the Louisiana CPAs website for more information or to register.

Nominations are open for the MECPA 2025: Finding True North Awards. Maine CPA Society members can nominate themselves or their colleagues in a variety of award categories including:

  • The Forward Thinker
  • The Wise Sage
  • The Giver
  • The Rising Star

Nominations close on April 1, 2025, with winners announced at the annual meeting on May 15, 2025. 

The Mississippi Society of CPAs (MSCPA) is offering sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities for the 2025 Convention, which will take place June 18-22 at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Destin, Florida.

The Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA) has opened registration for its 2025 Annual Members Convention, which will take place at the Camden on the Lake Resort in Lake Ozark, on June 5 and 6, 2025. The member price is $425 with non-member pricing at $525.

TheNew Mexico Society of CPAs (NMSCPA) announced that registration is open for the Government Finance Experts Conference, which will take place May 13-15, 2025. The cost of the conference is $615 and those interested can register online.

On February 18, 2025, The Tennessee Society of CPAs (TSCPA)hosted its annual Day on the Hill event, where TSCPA members met with state legislators to discuss issues of importance.  Additional information about the event can be accessed here.
