UHY on Tuesday announced a new partnership with AI governance and security platform Secure AIs, which will enable the Farmington, Hills, MI-based top 30 accounting firm to expand its technology compliance offerings for clients.
By pairing Secure AIs’ end-to-end AI governance platform with UHY’s technology and regulatory compliance expertise, this partnership allows companies to use, control, and govern AI tools—such as ChatGPT, Gemini, AI agents, and even internal AI tools—while ensuring 100% data security and regulatory compliance.

“AI has fundamentally shifted the way today’s organizations operate, opening up both incredible opportunities as well as serious compliance risks that need to be guarded against,” Cory McNeley, managing director of technology innovation at UHY, said in a statement. “In teaming up with Secure AIs, we are continuing on our path of equipping our clients the tools and expertise they need to navigate these rapidly evolving challenges. Secure AIs is in lockstep with these ideals, and we are looking forward to working with their team to create a more comprehensive AI governance and compliance landscape for all organizations today.”
California-based Secure AIs is a platform for AI governance and security, enabling organizations to manage AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and internal systems. It offers precise control over AI access to data, with permissions set by department, team, role, or individual. This ensures protection of sensitive information while boosting employee productivity, the company says.
With private AI investment in the U.S. hitting $109 billion in 2024 alone, AI adoption among businesses continues to surge. However, given the growth of AI technology—particularly generative AI—and proliferation of AI-powered tools across organizations, ensuring that this technology meets security and regulatory standards continues to be an ongoing pain point for companies and their compliance teams.
“Today’s AI adoption and regulatory landscape is as complex as it has ever been—and it is changing every day,” said Lorenza Binkele, CEO of Secure AIs. “By joining our groundbreaking platform with UHY’s unmatched expertise, we are confident that Secure AIs and UHY will be able to provide organizations with the dynamic intelligence and tools they need to both meet and exceed their most pressing AI compliance and governance needs for years to come.”
