Forvis Mazars LLP, one of the largest public accounting and consulting firms in the United States, demonstrated its ongoing commitment to serving local communities through its firmwide IMPACT Days initiative in late June.

The second annual event included more than 2,600 team members who contributed over 10,500 volunteer hours in their communities, helping unlock the potential of nonprofit and civic organizations across the country.

This year, Asheville, North Carolina, emerged as a powerful example of the firm’s values in action. Team members in Asheville worked alongside local organizations to support ongoing recovery and cleanup efforts following Hurricane Helene. Volunteers cleared debris, revitalized community spaces, and helped restore parts of the area still facing long-term effects from the 2024 storm.

From Phoenix to Boston, employees across the firm participated in a wide range of local hands-on service projects supporting a variety of nonprofits such as food banks, animal shelters, hospitals, and youth outreach programs. National efforts included a blood drive competition among healthcare practice team members and hundreds of the firm’s virtual employees assembled kits that supported the needs of the unhoused, helped first graders learn sight words, and brought comfort to children in hospitals. More than 300 team members who were attending a firmwide training event in Florida took time to build bicycles for local kids and families facing medical crises.

“Our culture at Forvis Mazars challenges us to be builders and build unrivaled relationships in our communities,” said Kevin Price, chief inclusion and sustainability officer. “We are proud to invest in the growth and development of others and help unlock potential from the communities we serve.”
