Intuit Enterprise Suite is designed to help new and existing Intuit QuickBooks customers access more powerful functionality—without losing the intuitive nature of Intuit’s products. Launched September 2024, Intuit Enterprise Suite addresses the complex needs of quickly growing businesses, including streamlining multi-entity business journal entries and consolidated reporting.

Advanced reporting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and business management tools are also available with a single login. Accountants are saying …

”The detailed reporting and forecasting tools in the Intuit Enterprise Suite give us the ability to provide more insightful financial advice to our clients which directly enhances the value of our services and support higher profitability for both our clients in the firm.” —Teresa Hendrickson, senior onboarding consulting manager, HoganTaylor LLP

Accountants who have more complex clients and are on QuickBooks Online can easily upgrade to Intuit Enterprise Suite. And just like QuickBooks Online, the developers of Intuit Enterprise Suite continue to create new features designed to streamline operations, increase productivity, and improve decision-making with business intelligence and insights for your clients’ next phases of growth.

4 Sets of New Features

Here are the new features and how they can help you drive growth and efficiencies for your clients.

1. Set Default Accounts for Intercompany Transactions

Manage intercompany transactions while avoiding the manual work of selecting accounts and creating a journal entry for each one. Pre-assign accounts for your client’s intercompany transactions so you can quickly allocate them across entities—whether equally or in percentages you set.

You can also perform intercompany allocations directly from the bank feed, expense form, or bills. Mapping default accounts for transactions between specific entity groupings frees up team leads to delegate the allocation tasks to other team members.

2. Forecast P&L down to the dimension

You and your clients can now pinpoint profitable areas and highlight what needs improvement, within the dimensions important to their business—including department, region, program, fund, or product line. Find new ways to inform strategic decision-making by adding customized analysis and projections of their revenue, expenses, and profit at this dimensional level.

You can use their existing budget, or the last 3, 6, 9, or 12 months of historical data to generate precise forecasts that extend up to 3 years. For precise control and deeper analysis, you can also apply rules to various dimensions and classes within a forecast.

Through all these processes, Intuit Enterprise Suite will autosave your progress so you won’t lose your place. When you’re done creating a dimensional forecast, convert it into a dimensional budget or export it as an Excel spreadsheet or PDF.

3. Customize project-specific workflows

Project- and service-based companies with one or more entities using Intuit Enterprise Suite get new industry-specific capabilities to drive and track their performance:

  • Create and import project budgets. Track your client’s project data from one connected system to get real-time insights into project financials by using highly customizable and flexible project-level budgets. You can also import a budget from a spreadsheet and assign dimensions to line items. As you import a budget, an AI-powered tool helps you find and address duplications and mismatches along the way.
  • Customize turnkey project task templates. Create project tasks in less time by making your own reusable task templates, or choosing from a library of standard and industry-specific templates.
  • Track project profitability. Stay apprised of a client’s project performance by accessing a consolidated, near real-time view of financial tracking across projects—including the forecasted profit margin throughout each project.** Use actionable AI suggestions and powerful, predictive strategies to help your client achieve profit benchmarks.

4. Workforce management updates

You can get new ways to take care of employees and help retain your team.

  • Paycheck corrections for closed quarters: Edit, backdate, and void past-quarter paychecks in Intuit Enterprise Suite without having to request support.
  • Direct deposit payment reversals:** Add payroll control and flexibility by reversing an employee direct deposit payroll payment in Intuit Enterprise Suite for no additional fee.
  • Employee history: To make better-informed decisions on promotions and raises, clients can track changes to employees’ data, including their manager, department, pay, and job title.
